The Turquoise Coast has some of the most beautiful scenery on the Mediterranean. One of the best ways to see it is by boat, and preferably a traditional Turkish boat (gulet). You can go on a boat trip (any duration from 1 day to a week) from one of the Patara travel companies or from Kas, Fethiye (which has many Island trips) or nearby Kalkan, only 20 minutes away by regular bus. Popular places to see are Simena and the sunken city at Kekova.

The area around Patara is part of the Lycian Way,a long distance walk from Antalya to Olu Deniz.Ther are fascinating places to visit and stunning scenery all along the route.
